Cancer Sun sign - Ascendant/Rising

I’d Just like to add that this is just my interpretation of what it means to be a Sun Sign Cancer or Cancer Ascendant . Please take into consideration that you as a person are much more than just this one sign… The Moon Sign will add another layer of you, as will Venus, Mars and Mercury - Astrology is deep and complex and all the Planets, Signs and aspects help you better know yourself, understand things and help guide you - but for that you will need to know your Time & Place of Birth. Cancer
Cancer is the 4th sign in the Zodiac as such rules over the 4th house of family and home, it’s ruling Planet/Star is the Moon and it rules over the Chest area and is otherwise known as the Crab.
To be a Cancer you would have to be born on and in between June 21 through to July 20th.
Things you know about a Cancer person.
Well it’s in the name… Crab! These people being ruled over by the moon mean there moods are very changeable, like the waves in the Ocean which are also affected by the Moon. Cancer people are very up and down and so are there moods and they know it as i’m sure you do too.
Cancer people are sensitive, although you might not know this depending upon the Cancerian person as they have a tough exterior. As the Cancer rules over the Chest area these people are very protective over their heart… To stretch further ruling over the family and home these people are extremely protective over the ones they love, the home and family whether or not they are particularly close to them.
Cancers like comfort and often think things through before acting. They are great listeners and will give great advice. They are able to understand you, relate to you and really feel you as they feel deeply. They are good people with huge hearts, however do not take them for push overs because they are far from it, they may want to help you but if you cross them you will know all about it.
Be good to a cancer friend as they are not always so open with how they feel, they can be sensitive and withdraw from you if they feel you are mistreating them.
Like any good parent these guys know if your lying, they know how to make you feel comfortable and relaxed… Being around a cancer is like being at home, you don’t need to pretend with a cancer and if you need help - A cancer always knows what’s best - full of great advice… Although they do not know everything even if they appear to think they do.
Cancer people are highly opinionated people and often have an answer for everything. They are Emotional even the men! But they are masters of hiding it… However if they are suppressors they could be loose cannons waiting to explode.
As a young Cancer, you was probably Animated, very expressive, quite close to the mother in comparison to the father… You probably were a little quiet until you know someone then full of life and excitement when you feel comfortable you really do come out of your shell.
Your also really caring and nurturing individuals who will do what it takes to help someone out even if it means putting them before yourself. You really fight for the things you want, you appear gentle and calm on the outside yet underneath it all you have this passionate and deeply loving side to you also. whirlwind romantics, sentimental and temperamental and emotional driven people.
Now you might not know it on first hand experiences but Cancer folks are very comical, funny, funny, funny people and they do not take them self as seriously as you think. They are actually very exciting to be around there is something about them that makes you want to get close.
I think there is a lot about a Cancer that is hidden… the dark horses of the Zodiac i’d like to say! They are not just good parental, maternal people whom you run to because they always offer a shoulder to cry on… I mean home life is extremely important to them although they are able to see the funnier side of things in life. They are natural empaths and at times depending upon their moon sign can slow conversations down but this is just because they want you to listen to the amazing advice they are giving you.

There is a lot going on today in the Astro’s. We have lots of Planets both in Aquarius and Pisces… This is highlighting a lot of revealing about our self, maybe even things that have been suppressed or hidden or even forgot about in the past as Pisces is a deep, intuitive sign who is able to adapt to the situation at hand.
Is there something or a part of you that you have suppressed or forgotten about… I think today could reveal a side of you that you keep hidden, a side that has been laying dormant and maybe even what with a Mercury retrograde that you are being made aware of - Something from the past.
There is a need to let go of things that are holding us back, look at how we are taking action today what are we doing and is it benefiting us in some way…
Today i think the unique aspects of our deepest most inner self will come out again. What knowledge or information are we becoming aware of -
Today with Aquarius energy we might even have one of those ahh ha moments an epiphany even.
The Sun Sextiles Saturn in Sagittarius and this will bring forth an opportunity to see things from another perspective, really lighting the way to that new doorway. The key is that we will be discovering a lot about our self maybe even things that happened in the past and it will be about integrating those sides of us into the present - you don’t need to be one thing you can show other sides of your self also.
I mean me my self (if you are interested for an example) I never used to take things quite so seriously i used to laugh at things that went wrong… I've seen over the past few days that, that side of me is reappearing - and you know what i forgot i was even like this - it’s like i am rediscovering my self - that’s what i think today is about.
With the Moon Squaring Saturn it could make for some tension as we are thinking again about parts of us that we lost along the way…
But ultimately it is just bringing you back to yourself.
I think through this Aquarius sign we will be reinventing our self and stepping into a more authentic self. I think we will be able to detach from those that are not worthy and connect to those who are on the same frequency as us.
Try not to get too confused and know whatever happens if it does reflect in a darker light, that its a test its about changing perceptions and vision of where we are going - powerful day
In terms of relationships we have Venus Conjunct (combining energies) with Mercury retrograde and i think this is really highlighting the fact that your able to see someone in a different light today or in general over the next few weeks. I think you also will need to change your approach also.
I mean we are all looking at all these ideas, options and such as Aquarius likes to do lots of things but we really need to stop and focus, focus on one thing to begin with as this will stop the scattered energy feeling. Is there someone your seeing differently now and if so what are you going to do about it?
