CARD 1 | KING OF SWORDS
This card speaks of a valiant impulse to claim his prize. The King of Swords is a message of skill, intelligence and an emotionless response. It is easy to become so content with winning or defeating an enemy that our judgement gets clouded, it’s true what you have is of great value, in fact, you might not have known it at first glance, but now that you do, it is not to fight fire with fire but, you need to find a non-invasive way to win them to your side. As you can see in the card the King is calling upon a swarm of Butterflies to feed the angry birds children enough to divert the attention of the mother and father. Perhaps what this card is telling you is to turn a bad situation around. Perhaps this King of swords is about winning someone over to your way of thinking, not in a brutish or forceful way but in a way that can transform something negative into something positive that you both can win.
CARD 2 | THE STAR
This is my Favourite card of the Tarot, it is a card of Fate and destiny and that everything is happening in perfect timing - there is a notion of “it’s meant to be” about it.
This card screams dreams, wishes and a whole lot of magic. Things are as they should be and remember you don’t get stars without darkness… So allow things to align the way were destined to, even if you feel lost, uncertain or doubtful about something know that everything is working out - you just need to believe, have a little faith and hope! Magic only exists if you believe in it. & Something magical is about to happen.
CARD 3 | THE TWO OF CUPS
This is the card of true connection, being open, sharing yourself authentically, speaking your truth, sharing your heart and soul with another - In many ways, this is a card of kindred spirits coming together. In the day in age that we live in, this is not an easy thing to do, it is hard to truly be yourself, out of fear of rejection and not being socially accepted. Still after all these years being different is feared, and so we hide behind what society tells us is acceptable, right, attractive and liked and we shut away everything else that is not. The challenge of the Two of cups is about accepting yourself fully and truly enough to be authentically you, by you being open, honest and true to yourself you give others permission to do the same and that's when a true connection is found.
Question the things that you do, ask yourself if this is something that truly aligns with you or is it just something that everyone does. Does doing certain things make it right even if everyone else is doing it? I guess the message is to not be afraid of going against the grain, instead be brave to do so, if it is something that you think and feel within yourself, speak up about it, by doing so you give others permission to do just that and in doing so you create stronger and more meaningful connections.
