How Tarot Works

How Tarot Works…

Let’s start at the beginning

Tarot has been around for at least six centuries now, it’s hard to  say exactly where Tarot came from as there are no written documentation confirming dates. However there are many myths saying that Tarot originated from ancient Egypt and another myth claiming that the Gypsies brought Tarot to Europe.

Tarot for centuries has been used to solve your most burning questions or to catch a glimpse into the future or that of the recent past. Sceptics argue the fact that a set of cards with obscure pictures, could ever possibly tell us anything about our lives. There are a lot of misconceptions spread around by superstitious and religious people who shy away from Tarot in fear. They say that the cards are evil and that demonic entities will curse you or doom your life. The honest truth is that they are just cards and on their own hold no real power.

So we have discovered that the cards are not supernatural and controlled by evil spirits, they are used as a divination tool. Like with any tool, they are only as good as the skilled person wielding them.

About my readings

I have been reading cards since I was Thirteen years old, first for family and friends, then for friends of friends and family friends, and so the word spread…’’It runs in the family’’. I completely understand the stigma that comes with this line of work, and so I make it top priority that the client understands fully what tarot is, how it works and also the new law legislation implemented by the government, that all spiritual workers now have to inform clients. When booking or paying online you will receive this ‘’disclaimer’’.
I like to make YOU, the client feel at ease before beginning anything, as the more relaxed, calm and open you are the more you will gain from the reading. I also only read for people genuinely intrigued, or open to the possibility of what tarot and spiritual readings can offer, as I have out grown the need to feel like I have to prove anything, it goes without saying the reading speaks for itself.

There nothing wrong with being skeptical, belongs your open minded tarot will never seize to amaze you.

Let me explain further…

So once we have one through the essentials, payment has been made, and we have discussed how it is that you came for a reading, what it is you may be interested to know… We begin the reading.
Now bear in mind that the cards will show you whatever it is that they feel you should know – all for the higher good of course. They will only tell me the things that you need to know, they will clarify things that have happened in the past and work up to the future. People often worry about getting bad cards, but in all honesty there is always something positive to come out… & always guidance and advice for you follow so the bad, doesn’t end up bad. But of course it’s your life, your choices to make, your lessons to learn… I am here to listen and guide you onto the right path… the happy path!
So here I am, your spiritual guru, counsellor or witch – whatever you like to call me!
I’m not a professional psychiatrist, or medical doctor… But in all honesty I believe healing is not cured by taking pills, not to say that modern medicine is not good I just feel it’s used without fully understanding what’s making the patient ill. I feel it’s impersonal and I have yet to find a good doctor and so always use a more holistic approach to health (that’s not to say it’s for everyone). We get ill, discouraged by a range of physical, emotional and spiritual strains on the body and mind. But this is an entire other subject. What I’m trying to say is, think out side the box, listen to your body, heart and mind… Stuck in a difficult relationship, keep getting ill, want that job you always dreamed of… tarot will help you but it’s you that has to make the choice, and step into the life you long for.

"Remember those that do not believe in magic… never find it! It’s good to dream! "

How I do online Readings

With an on-line reading, I tune into you by photograph and using your date of birth. With your payment you are giving me consent, allowing me to connect with you. I then draw cards, with any questions that you may want to know about. Please do bare in mind that the cards will tell me what they feel you need to know, they will never tell me anything that you cannot handle. And so, I will guide and prepare you for what’s to come… Please do check out my feedback on my Facebook page… and all links can be found on my website. I truly hope I can help you like i have helped so many others

I truly hope I can help you like I have helped so many others.

Updated - What it means to be a witch

Ask a Little Witch

1     What it means to be a Witch

‘’A Witch is someone who lives the Art, Science, and spirituality of witchcraft’’
First let’s touch upon where witches originated. Well the old ones were simply nothing more than that of wise men and women of there tribes, towns, families who those would go see for spiritual assistance, divinatory and medicinal purposes. In ancient cultures people would go visit the high priestesses and priests for healing. At the time, healing was much more that what our modern medical profession is today. Modern medicine is great in many ways, but in the ancient times, healing was a process involving the mind, emotions and spirit as well as the body. Healing was an energetic process.
A healer would give counsel and advice, and minister the spiritual balance of the individual. You will probably find many witches of today are involved in the healing arts, traditional of otherwise, because helping others in such an important part of witchcraft.

A witch is someone who ‘’walks between worlds’’ – like that of a shaman. The shaman believes in non physical, spiritual realms, in these worlds, one can get information and healing energy, and communicate with spirits. The Shaman ministers to his people though the ability, to effect healing of the mind, body and spirit. Witches like Shaman believe in non physical realms. They are bridges between worlds.
The belief in and the practice of magic has been present since the earliest human cultures and continues to have an important religious and medicinal role in many cultures today. Witchcraft is a spirituality, you walk a spiritual path for nourishment of the soul, to commune with the life force of the universe, and better your own life.

To determine the Witch you must first determine the craft the witch practices. I myself am all of the above, I aim to help others and to heal them and to better the
individual. I'm not a villain from a fairy tale story poisoning apples or placing curses upon people.

I help heal people through the art of Tarot and the three fold law. I’m a strong believer that what you put out you shall receive.

I hope this can somewhat explain what being a witch means, I shall upload soon more about my craft as always <3 your little witch x x x

Oil Pulling - teeth hygiene

Ask a Little Witch

The Art of Oil Pulling

Oil pulling has been used for 1000’s of years from culture to culture. It’s a traditional way of cleaning your teeth but with added benefits.

Oil pulling is easy and effective, it aims to remove harmful toxins, bacteria and plaque from your mouth. In time it will improve the overall health of your mouth, gums and teeth, as well as other benefits in your body.

So what is Oil pulling

It’s a holistic remedy for bleeding gums. It involves swishing a tablespoon of oil (coconut & sesame oil are my favorites) around your mouth for 5 minutes working up to 20 minutes.

Now what this does is pull any bacteria, toxins and plaque from your mouth. It does this by mixing with your saliva, turning into a white liquid. Lipids in the oils begin to pull out the toxins from the saliva. As the oil is swished around the mouth, teeth, tongue and gums, the oil continues to absorb the toxins, it will then sometimes start to thicken. Once the oil has reached this consistency, it’s time to spit out in a bin (not down the sink), it’s important you do not swallow as you do not want to re-absorb the toxins you have just removed with the oil.

- How do Oil Pull –

  1. 1.     You will need a table spoon of oil. Place the table spoon of oil into your mouth and begin to swish. I often set my timer for 20 minutes. Obviously when starting out you might find it difficult to swish for the full 20 minutes, so maybe start with 5 and build up.
  2. 2.     To see full benefits I recommend doing this for about 21 days in a row, in the morning is best as it’s the time that you have the most bacteria in your mouth. After the 21 days you can do it 3 times a week, and work your way down to just once or twice a week or as and when you feel you need it.
  3. 3.     Spit out into a bin, never down a sink oil is not good for house hold piping.
  4. 4.     Rinse mouth with water & then brush teeth as normal

>>Brighter, whiter teeth

>>Healthier gums
>>Prevents bad breath
>>Increased energy
>>Clearer mind
>>Decreased headaches
>>Clearer sinuses
>>Alleviated allergies
>>Better sleep
>>Clearer skin
>>Regulated menstrual cycles
>>Improved lymphatic system
>>Improved PMS symptoms

What have you got to loose… I always advise everyone to do their own research and see what they find out. Do what works best for you! This is my natural way of keeping my smile bright and white.

guide to Auras

Ask a Little Witch

How to See an Aura

Good evening all that’s tuned in to Ask a little Witch … So you clicked on this because you’re curious as to what an Aura is, how can you see an Aura and if it’s a trick that most can do… Let me do my best in explaining it as much as I can from what I've learnt over the past.

An Aura, What is an Aura?

Well, an Aura is a vibration of energy. There, wasn't that simple? Okay, now let me explain… All living things are made of energy, you yourself are energy, trees, flowers, animals, fruit and all types of things that are alive exuberate energy. Now the vibration, or what I mean by that is, we all run on various frequencies, some vibrate faster, some slower, some have a stronger vibration and others a weaker vibration of energy.

So that's what an Aura is. But what does it look like??

Auras are different, they look different depending on what, who you’re looking at - just as you’re not the same as your neighbour and their different from you. Sometimes you will see a ring of colour around there silhouette surrounding there body. Some will have beams of colour coming from them.

You see the glow around the hand... That's what it appears like... and on some other occasions on healers hands (reiki healers, crystal healers and masseuse etc)  you will see beams, swirls of energy coming out of their palms.

Okay, so why do people see them and what are they for?

Auras are seen by people with a higher sense of awareness, they can tell a lot about a person from the colours that they see coming from them. Healers can tell use the colour of an Aura to see what energy centre (Chakra) is blocked.
Another way I can describe it, you know you get a feeling in the pit of your tummy, sometimes when you meet someone, and for some reason you get a bad feeling… That’s you ‘psychically’ picking up something about that person. You may not see the energy from that person, but you feel it!

How to see Auras…

You need to approach this with an open mind and bucket loads of patience. You need to be in a relaxed state of being, before you begin you will need your subject to practice on... I'd recommend a piece of fruit like an Apple or a banana, you can even practice on your own hand (in time). You will need to place it in front of a white background... like a white painted brick wall (not wooden as wood usually very much alive), If not, stick a sheet or two of plain white paper on a wall and then begin.

First you want to quieten your mind, so spend 5-10 minutes just focusing upon your breathing. Deeply in, then out, empty your mind of thoughts.

Then close your eyes, pick up your item (apple or banana) and hold it gently in your palms. Continue breathing in, and then out, you don't want to strain it, or force it to happen... gently feel the item (apple or banana). But feel I do not mean to stroke it. I mean to feel it, what energy vibration do you get... the best way to describe the feeling for energy is the feeling you get when you hold a crystal in your palms. Some feel a tingling sensation and others a warmth, everybody is different and the vibration can even feel different to different people.

Now place your item in front of the white wall or sheet of paper. You then want to look blankly at the outline of the item (apple or banana). Best way is to imagine you were to draw it, look at the item, not directly at it, but to the side (outline). Eventually your eyes will un-focus... don't panic this its the training process of seeing auras. Soon the blur will turn into a colour, and the aura will appear.

Please do not stare for too long (you will be seeing the imprint of your item for about 5 minutes after if you do that), try for a minute at a time, until you can build up to a couple minutes. Not everyone will see straight away, it takes time, so be kind to your self...

I hope this has helped to explain what an Aura is... Post below or to my Facebook page www.facebook.com/ask.a.witch, with your progress. I will aim to make these blogs into videos on my new YouTube channel in time.

Let me know if you want to know what Colours of Auras mean.. or what you may want to learn about next...

Being Psychic

Ask a Little Witch

Being Psychic – What it is?

Okay, so you probably have your own interpretations of what being psychic means/is. That’s okay, not everyone will agree with what I’m going to say. But I’ll at least give you a different perspective on this rather ambiguous topic.

Being psychic. People are so fearful, apprehensive might be a better word, when someone states they are psychic. It’s got such a bad dogma to it, people think you know all, read minds, see all, put down to things you see in the movies and old wives tales, parents, other religions, some might think you’re into devil worship and curses.
Truth is, being ‘Psychic’ means nothing more than ‘you have a higher sense of awareness’.
Now you ask, what does that even mean? Let me explain. You might be surprised that most people are awakened, and to some degree, psychic, already without even knowing it… There are three main levels of psychic abilities if you will.
Clairsentience, meaning clear feeling – Clair stands for clear & Sentience – stands for feeling. It’s one of the main types of psychic abilities.
Being able to sense, Clairsentience is the correct terminology for it. It basically means to sense things clearly. It’s our intuition, you know when you get a gut instinct that something bad is going to happen… and then it does, that is a psychic ability. You know when you meet someone for the first time and you just have a knowing that, that person is good/bad and you can’t explain it that’s you intuitively picking up something psychically.

Now that’s how your psychic ability starts off, it can then progress, you may be able to start to sense when something’s about to happen. You may be able to sense when someone is ill, when someone is going to call you, you can pick up great deal, on the energy you’re surrounded by. This ability may then develop into being an ‘empath’, someone who takes on others emotions, a type of emotional sponge.

Clairvoyance, meaning clear seeing – Clair standing for clear & voyance meaning sight.
Being able to see clearly, Clairvoyance is something you may have heard a psychic call him/herself before. So what is it exactly that makes someone a ‘clairvoyant’, It’s someone who is extremely visually perceptive. They can see glimpses of the future and past – in terms of visions through their inner eye, or psychical eyes. Some see this in short flashes in their mind, may pick up on signs being shown to them, some may have dream states of awareness, premonitions, all of events, places or things, situations yet to happen or that have happened and that then happen.

Clairvoyants can sometimes as there gifts develop, see energy fields that surround people, like auras which can tell them a lot about a person.
Clairaudience, meaning clear hearing – clair meaning clear and audience meaning hearing.
Being able to hear clearly, otherwise known as Clairaudience. This is the ability is linked I believe to medium-ship (the ability to connect to spirit). Now this psychic ability is tricky, because most the time you will hear it in your own voice, it’s someone who can gain knowledge that they couldn’t possibly know by hearing it in their head. This ability is difficult because you doubt yourself constantly, it sounds like you, and so you believe what you think(hear) you just don’t understand it fully (why did I just think of that?). On some occasions you can actually hear spirits voice.

All in all, it is someone that hears an inner voice, that knows the answer to something they couldn’t possibly know the answer too. It’s a psychic gift, if you can do this your likely a Clairaudient.

Now that’s just three higher levels or awareness, there are many types of psychic abilities, the ones I have mentioned and lots more, like mediums for example (I shall briefly explain what that is).

A Medium is someone who acts as a bridge between our world and that of spirit, they can pass along messages and receive information of that which is to come.

Now most people possess at least one of those abilities, whether is developed fully or not. Others are born with the gift and some are given the gift after a NDE (Near Death Experience) or something major happens in their life. Everyone is different.

But what I will say, is people who are psychic are not evil, the majority are here to help – most people with higher levels of awareness (psychics) are natural healers. I do believe more and more are awakening during this spiritual time, those that are not are becoming curious of it, and some resist in fear of something they do not know.

It’s important to keep an open mind, Please don’t label Psychics as a type of religious group – I’m not going to get into religion as it is a whole other subject. What I'm trying to say is, religion doesn't necessarily come into it, most psychics are spiritual we believe in spirit, in energy… some from scientific background, being psychic is a way of life, we believe in what we feel, see, hear and touch and we do not give our energy to worship (although some do) that’s not a bad thing, it’s just not my thing. We are good people, here to guide and assist you in your lives.

I hope this has gave some pointers as to what a psychic is, and rest assured we are not demonic worshippers. There are all kinds of people in this world, good and bad, and so you have to judge each person as a new person.

Whats in your Water

Aska Little Witch

What’s in our Water – Why is it there?

Okay, SO hello everyone!! Today I wanted to discuss or at least give you food for thought – What’s in our water and why is it there!? My main concern being fluoride.
Fluoride, what is fluoride? Well Fluoride is most certainly not a requirement for our bodies, it’s not a dietary need…
Although it is a natural substance, fluoride is highly toxic to human beings, even more so than lead. If you were to ingest a mere 2-5 grams of sodium fluoride (a common ingredient in toothpaste), you would probably die. The amount of fluoride in a typical tube of fluoride toothpaste is sufficient to kill a small child if it were consumed all at once. Fluoride toothpaste contains a much higher concentration of fluoride than what is found in nature.
So why then is it allowed to be used and added to our water? If Fluoride is not needed then why not leave it out? I'm not going to say I know everything about Fluoride, but from what I do know, people only know what’s been marketed and advertised for us to know (TV).
People only think ‘’know’’ that it’s ‘’good & cannot be bad because it is added to our toothpaste it prevents tooth decay’’.
I ask you this, I guarantee you ask your dentist what Fluoride is and he/she will only know as much as you and me did. Ask what’s it for and what’s the lethal dosage? Ask them where the fluoride treatments in your toothpastes comes from? Better yet ask them how exactly they come to know that it helps prevents tooth decay? Ask them the dangers of fluoride exposure, and where you, you’re self can obtain proof that the usage is safe.

Now I am only suggesting that you find out this information for your selves. I too am utterly shocked, but there has been research that proves that Fluoride actually has no effect what so ever on the prevention of tooth decay, it’s simply a poison that kills bacteria and as such that poison is released into our systems to poison other cells.
Fluoride in water is banned in Japan, China and most European Countries.
If you look far enough back in history, we are a society that is always in search of being controlled as a whole. Think back to Smoking- we was lead to believe that smoking was okay and would lead to no long term health problems, how we was shown by our Doctors & dentist the people we 'know' to trust', people we look to because they know better. But they like us are controlled by the government leaders. We was told that lead in gasoline was too safe and we was told about asbestos which all of those have now been proven as being unhealthy and potentially dangerous for us. People linked to those very things were too the people that claimed to say that Fluoride is too 'safe and not harmful for us'.

Did you know that Fluoride was the main benefactor component of the Atomic bomb?

I’m not saying to stop drinking water and brushing your teeth, (water is a must for us to be healthy, but maybe look into what's in your water and maybe opt if its of a higher amount to fresh spring water that's not Fluoride) just look into it and do the research for yourself.  Less is more when we don’t need to consume Fluoride. It lowers our IQs it is a neurotoxin.

It’s just one of the sources I used in researching the facts behind the deception of Fluoride.

I would also like to thank ‘Kelli in the Raw’YouTube… I never thought to question what was in our water, It's really is refreshing to think for yourself… Don’t believe everything your sold find out for yourself. Up until a short while ago I believed only that which was marketed to me, I didn't question water because it’s always been there.

Wake up to the reality that we are a controlled population and I’m sure water and toothpaste is only two of the many.

Bless it be – much love <3 Your little witch  x x x
