What it means to be a Leo...

I’d Just like to add that this is just my interpretation of what it means to be a Sun Sign leo or Leo Ascendant . Please take into consideration that you as a person are much more than just this one sign… The Moon Sign will add another layer of you, as will Venus, Mars and Mercury - Astrology is deep and complex and all the Planets, Signs and aspects help you better know yourself, understand things and help guide you - but for that you will need to know your Time & Place of Birth. Leo
Leo is the 5th sign in the Zodiac as such rules over the 5th house of creativity, children, fun and media , Leo is ruled by the Sun and it rules over the heart area and is otherwise known as the lion.
To be a leo you would have to be born on and in between July 21 through to August 21st.
Things you know about a leo person.
Okay, well i know a great many leos so you’d think this was an easy Sign to do… but i really want to do it justice. Now before getting into it fully i just want to state that although a Leo Sun sign and a Leo Ascendant/Rising appear to be the same… They are not. I’ll tell you why…
A Leo Sun being ruled by the Sun and the Sun being the center of our solar system can make leo people the center of things… Be that there career, work, social circles or in general they just have a great deal of presence that draws others to them. A Leo Rising demands the attention, they want to be the center and so being an Ascendant sign is the image you reflect to the world you deem everyone know your there, your important and so want all eyes on you.
Leo’s have self reassurance they have confidence at least that is how you would see a leo… They like to play and act out and be what they want you to see them as even if they are wounded or heart broken.
Okay so Leo, and all the ones i know on a personal level are proud, deeply loving and passionate people. In fact a Leo comes most alive when they are doing things that they are passionate about, their heart has to be in or they are not… they can become lazy.
Leo’s all have a presence about them, they walk into a room… you know about it whether or not they are loud people. They are very protective over their friends and family. They are the center of the universe, and no not always does this indicate that a Leo is self centered.
People go to a Leo for direction. They are natural leaders and sometimes this can annoy a Leo… As they do not always want to feel so responsible for everyone around them. It’s not your fault leo, being ruled by the sun your illuminated for all to see.
Leo’s always have something about their appearance that stands out, big hair, big personality, humorous, lots of colour about you, your image is important to you more so than any other sign.
Being a Leo is like being on Stage, like being in a movie almost… And if your know a Leo then your playing apart in their movie/play or show. But what goes on behind the scene is very much a different story. In public they are very much dressed for the occasion, looking the part, they are prepared to be on show - behind the scene it could be a different story.
Leos live extraordinary lives… it’s never boring and there is always something going on.
Leo people are generous and they really know how to make people feel good, special and pampered. Do not take a Leo for granted or they will roar like nobodys business.
Leos love to be loved… They love excitement and drama and they almost have a dramatic way of telling stories that really captivates the audience. They are big kids at heart and you are always fun to be around, you make people feel important and you always have great connections. Your Creative, fun, pleasurable and indulgent people.
Leo’s love the finer things in life. They love to feel good, they love to have fun and they know how to have fun!! They are natural entertainers and are made for the spotlight but are they willing to share? Well they can share it doesn’t mean they will.
Negative side
Yes Leo can be absorbed in their own life and forget that people are not there to serve them all the time - being as they are the Kings/Queens of the World. Not to say people don’t like to serve them because they do… It’s just to remember that others have their own life to live too.
Leo’s have a way of becoming fixated on something/Someone… but they love things to be upbeat and fun, so Leo’s can become bored quickly. Some Leos lack foresight because they only see what they want it puts a lot of pressure on things that it becomes too bright that you cannot see it for what it is.
Leo people can expect you to drop everything for them when they need you - Again it’s not their fault they are ruled by the Sun and they are insanely loyal and loving and make amazing friends - So do your job and be there for them. - Leo though you need to sometimes stop being such a big kid/baby at times and self soothe.
All the Leo’s i know are stylish, funny and know how to have a good time. They are creative and yet have a childlike quality about them that is just so loving that everyone cannot help but love a Leo. I’d say 8/10 leos like to take charge to a situation, yet i feel it comes more naturally than it’s put on or forced they just make great leaders and know how to get things done.

Today we have Moon in Taurus still but what has got me super excited today is that Venus is now back in Pisces… Now i love it because my natal Venus is in pisces so for me today is a blessing.
But lets just look at what’s going on before i get into the Venus side of things. So we are still in Aquarius which is all about reinventing, looking at options, which ones to take ect and we have Mercury also in Aquarius but retrograde - which to recap basically has got us to be in a state of reflection really looking at the choices we are making and it’s usually a time where communication gets off track.
We have Saturn in Sagittarius which wants to open up new doorways to expand and get us on track with what we truly want in life, yet it does square Venus so maybe this today is highlighting relationships and looking at what is good for us, looking at the choices we have made in getting here and know which ones to pursue and which ones to let go of.
Okay so Venus in Pisces is great! In my opinion anyway! I feel like this is really looking at love in the astrology, looking at all matter of relationships and seeing which ones you have a deeper spiritual connection with. Which people do you just feel and understand on a deeper more powerful level.
I think here we are looking at relationships and which ones will bring us more happiness long term and stepping away from ego and thinking that this person can give me.
What i’m trying to say is you shouldn’t be with someone because they give you things, that materialistically they can benefit your life -
Saturn will just tear this apart somewhere down the line.
It’s saying that relationships should be about the connection between two people (friendship or otherwise) should not be about the way someone makes you feel - because thats where we get the disconnectedness - everything being so replaceable. It’s about the growth and well maybe this is for another time to get into…
I don’t feel good anymore so i’m going to be with this person because it’s new and exciting - cya!
Of course things are exciting in the beginning… Growth and love deepens when you can connect and help people through tough times. . . Or maybe I was just born in the wrong era?
Things are surfacing still and it’s not like we don’t know where to take action it’s more about stepping away from the ego and stepping through
this doorway.
I think conversation could still be hard and so i think it might be about thinking still… but unexpected things could really happen - you should be able to feel the positive shift today with Venus!

Good Afternoon I hope everyone had an amazing weekend… Today the Moon finishes up in Aries so it’s the closing up of all i spoke about for the weekend Astrology.
Moon Moves into Taurus which it happens to love to be in… However there are and will be some causes for tension when it comes to the ego and the heart. Look at what your giving your focus to today.
With Sun in Aquarius with a retrograde we might be trying to do to much, take on too much than we can handle. Retrogrades have a way of slowing things down. But it does highlight is the need to really look at what you are giving your time to. Stop trying to make everyone else happy and focus on you.
Now Aquarius naturally ruling over the house sector of friendships i’d say to look at this area also and really pay attention to who you want in your life, and who is worth having in your life… It’s time for a clear out, you have dreams and ambitions and at the same time your energy is being spread so many ways that you need to look at who is an asset and who is not.
We all have old friends that we have known for many years - i’m not saying for you to drop them i’m saying to spread your time more efficiently especially with a mercury retrograde because even more so your time is being eaten away your mind is slowing down because it wants you to reflect.
Saturn will Square Venus also so even more so looking at love, feelings and Emotions and to stop giving so much of your self for people who really don’t give a crap. I mean the world is becoming insanely more selfish, just give your emotions to those who care and stop caring so much for those who don’t about you.
The whole Saturn in Sagittarius thing is about breaking away from anything that is not real or authentic so just keep this in mind. I know fire and Earth signs might find this a little easier than water or Air signs… That’s purely because water gets everywhere and becomes insanely attached and Air well they think to much that the opportunities pass by.
Today is a day where the universe want you to contemplate what, who and where you give your energy and is it the right thing for you - time to detach and attach to that new energy if the old is no longer authentic. Think about where your going, your goals and maybe even it could highlight a time to reinvent but today is focused upon emotions, feeling and relationships and learning that now really could be the time to move forward instead of trying to fix something that is no longer real or authentic.

Weekend Astro - 24 + 25 January 2015

Okay so this weekend will bring around some changes for sure as we have this weekend with a Moon in Aries.
What i’ll say about this weekend is that yes Saturday can be exciting but as things progress throughout the day we can feel a little drained and that impulsiveness could die down a tad, making us aware to think rather than act on impulse or emotions today and through the weekend.
What i will ask you to have a think about is are you ready for this new change, are you ready for…. fill in the blank. We are in Aquarius now and this sign has a way of looking at things in unusual ways and maybe there was something we missed.
With a Sun in Aquarius it kind of bring up new ways of doing things, improving things and even reinventing those things even your life of look depending on where it is in your birthchart.The weekend is really about looking at what we we want and finding the best ways to change and adapt to achieving your goals.
The only Aspect that stands out to me and i think will really pack a punch… is Uranus in Aries conjunct the Moon. Let me explain as i know this might sound a little confusing… We are in the Aquarius sign, The Sun is transiting through Aquarius, now Aquarius’s ruling Planet is Uranus (and Saturn). Uranus is currently transiting through Aries (a lot of Aquarius people might be focusing upon their image) and we have a Moon in Aries this weekend.
Okay, so you know how much i go on about Saturn in Sagittarius will pull things apart that are not authentic, it will bring about this big new powerful chapter of our life. We are also in the most initiative sign Aquarius, and our Emotions (moon) are combining with all this Aquarius energy… So a weekend full of powerful potentials highlighting these changes and testing the waters to see what we can do to achieve the things we want.
So i think that a lot is going on in our minds, new awareness as things are evolving and changing and it’s important you do not detach but really listen to your body, listen to your heart and follow it.
This weekend just focus on where your at, then look at where you want to be and fill in the how to get there… But be clear with what your wanting -

So today we continue much of the theme of yesterday (only less intense) as well still have a Moon in Pisces conjunct Mars along with Sun, Venus and Mercury all in Aquarius.
Today i do feel like we are becoming aware of things, and seeing things from another perspective, a view we have not been able to see up until now. It’s interesting because today there is a lot of contemplating, thinking and really just taking the time to be alone and get things clear in your mind.
What could be clear as well is that you was so set on thinking a certain way that now you see things in another light that you may feel thrown off when it comes to taking action because you never thought of things in such away - perhaps even you might feel a little trapped, but your not trapped at all your free to do as you wish
I think we are all changing and adapting and reinventing our self like i said the other day and it is also seeing about where we are heading and considering who we have around us.
Pay attention to the signs today, what does your mind keep running back to what is it that you need to resolve, or what is it that has got you doubting. Today is another step forwards in the direction of this new chapter of your life, but who is going to be a part of it?
In relationships i urge you to really think about the long term… yes you can be having fun as Aquarius loves to do, they don’t like to be put in a box or be given so little options - but in all seriousness what’s important to you who is important to you long term - 28 years is a long time
This is just the turning point- the point you look back on and say that’s when it all changed…
The universe just wants everyone to be clear about where they are heading

Cancer
Cancer is the 4th sign in the Zodiac as such rules over the 4th house of family and home, it’s ruling Planet/Star is the Moon and it rules over the Chest area and is otherwise known as the Crab.
To be a Cancer you would have to be born on and in between June 21 through to July 20th.
Things you know about a Cancer person.
Well it’s in the name… Crab! These people being ruled over by the moon mean there moods are very changeable, like the waves in the Ocean which are also affected by the Moon. Cancer people are very up and down and so are there moods and they know it as i’m sure you do too.
Cancer people are sensitive, although you might not know this depending upon the Cancerian person as they have a tough exterior. As the Cancer rules over the Chest area these people are very protective over their heart… To stretch further ruling over the family and home these people are extremely protective over the ones they love, the home and family whether or not they are particularly close to them.

I think there is a lot about a Cancer that is hidden… the dark horses of the Zodiac i’d like to say!
