Neptune is the planet of magic, mystery, illusion, spirituality and dreams, this planet spends a little under half the year in retrograde. When a planet is in retrograde, we can tend to feel it more internally and personally, after all, anything created in this life comes from the idea of having thought it first.

The Affect of Neptune Retrograde…

Think of Neptune like the Ocean, conceptually you know that water surrounds the earth, you know we need water to cleanse, to heal and to survive. The Ocean is free, it takes the shape of whatever you pour it into, and so has no shape. Neptune is water and water is transparent as is Spirit, it's emotion, the things we feel and yet cannot see.

Let's say you go swimming, you feel the water around you, it supports you, it makes you feel weightless in a way, floating like how you would imagine as a child to float upon a cloud. 

Now imagine you're scuba diving in the Ocean, you see things that on the surface you had no idea was there before… You might imagine that there's fish for example, but you don't know for sure, the Ocean is another world and fish don't stay stagnant, they move, everything under the sea is changing and in motion. This is Neptune Rx the ability to see what you couldn't before, everything is closer, more real and clarity is almost given. It can be a time where a vision or inspired action begins the creation process. 

Neptune Rx is seeing the magic unfold around you. It's the secrets and mysteries being brought to the surface. It's Spirit visiting you in your dreams, it's just closer to our physical realm.

Most scary movies come out when Neptune is Rx, the fear gets real during this time because we feel the spiritual realms closer. You might think that it should be during a Pluto transit, but Neptune rules the movies and is almost always involved when it comes to the success of a film. Also, we can find it easier to fall into a movie, escape and get sucked into the story meaning successful for those who make the movie.

I know for me personally I am most inspired and active during this time, but then again I am a very Neptunian person.

Use this time to manifest, create and listen to what you know inside. Remember if Neptune is Magic then why not use it to aid you as oppose to manifest the more negative aspects.

This New moon has really been signaling this excitement for this new start, fresh start, new lease in your life.  New opportunities coming, new places to go, new people to see and it will really put relationships under the knife so to speak.

Are you mirroring the right people in your life, are you being who you truly are  - being honest with yourself. The New Moon in Libra the relationships that are in your life are going to be shown.

If you are looking to be successful in your business for example and you're partnering with someone who hates your idea of business - Then WHY & what are you doing with that person??

Today is a good time for meditation, going deep and send out to the universe the kind of relationships you want in your life, romantic, business, friendships ect… be clear about what energies you want around you - just put it out there, because Libra is all about relationships.

It’s important today to be very clean, by clean i mean energy wise, very high vibrational… Because if you are around a negative person they are mirroring you then you're not going to benefit so much. This energy with libra you will be stuck with a half, so it will affect a relationship in your life, it’s about choosing the right one, mirroring the energy that is on par with you i guess… Libra always draws in another half so it is important to look at your halfs and see what is being mirrored or reflected back to you.

This is a time where we get lots of oomph to step into things the energies are moving forward. But with this pluto energies up there it will really ask you to think, are you truly connecting to things that are really connecting vibrationally with you right, or are you investing your time and energy in a path that is truly mirroring your right self.

This is a time to sort out those details… Are these people really benefiting you in the path your going on is it the right energy inspiring you on?

The symbolism of the Wasp is somewhat similar to the bumble bee… The wasp is more or an aggressive energy, but these are still just as lucky if you're working hard to build something in your life. It say’s to be careful in how you communicate or approach the world, as you may get stung or sting another without meaning to. The Wasp reminds you that pain is a choice, don’t waste your stinger on a something minor.

It can also appear if we have been acting in jealousy lately and kindly reminds us to look within and practice self love, because jealousy is a symbol of fear and lack… what do you have to be jealous about your fabulous!

What word defines you? If you can only pick one, what would that word be? Well I always found it hard to voice myself, for many reasons… My life has not been an easy one, but I am so grateful for every second because it has lead me here, to now, to the path I’m on and working towards the life I want to lead.

I am ‘MAGIC’. My word is ‘MAGIC’.

Magic? Why Magic, you’re probably asking yourself. Well because if it wasn’t for magic I may not be here today, if it wasn’t for magic I would have turned into a very different person than the person I am today. You’re probably thinking, ‘’well the magic I know, doesn’t exist?’’

Magic, is found around every corner. Magic can be found in an unexpected strangers eyes. It can be found in the stillness of night. It can be found in precious moments, like a baby’s first words or a beautiful landscape. Magic can be found in those odd coincidences that occur. Magic is everywhere all you need to do is access it!

So I am MAGIC – do you believe?

I haven’t had the easiest life, I’ve never really fitted in with the ‘norm’ and I was born with the gift- some of my spiritual talents I'm still getting to grips with. I’m incredibly sensitive, intuitive, I saw things that others couldn't, I questioned everything, I had a huge pull to all things outer-worldly and I am very spiritual (not religious).

I’ve been reading Tarot cards since I was 13, it started off with just reading for my friends and family, it progressed to distant family and friends of the family and friends of friends. I had such great feed-back.

High school I was very much liked by everyone although I was never popular, I was friends with the popular crowd, the nerdy crowd, I had the ability to literally relate to everyone. I think my empath ability served me well, although it did cause a lot of confusion as to what I was feeling and what others were.

I only came out of the (Witches-broom) closet in 2007, shortly after completing my BTEC in Film/moving image and prior to that, performing arts, from there I have done a lot of charity work using my tarot. I have worked a lot of jobs in the coffee, bar and restaurant industry and it came to a point in my life where I felt like I was at a crossroads.

I had to answer that dreaded question ‘’where do I want to be in 10 years’’. The

answer was simple, I want to be happy. But what would make me the happiest?

I spent the next three years, discovering the things I love. Dance, film, spiritual work, and writing. Most I think I love people. I continued on my spiritual path, and it fascinated me, I studied people that I met, spiritually, with astrology, how they deal with life, the good the bad… I made some amazing discoveries.

In 2010 I visited a very lovely gypsy reader, I kind of came across her by accident (but of course nothing is by accident). Since then I have been on a fast learning curve by the universe. I love tarot and the amazing things it does for my clients. I love seeing that months down the line, my predictions coming true. Of course everyone has free will, everyone makes their own choices, and everyone has their own life path… I love helping people see clearly the things they don’t see. Everyone can be happy they just first have to choose it.

I knew I had the gift, I always had this magnetic pull to all things spiritual, and from there I have been helping people through tarot. I love helping people through their problems, relating to them, understanding them and giving them an honest reading. I am magic, and if you believe in me, and allow me to do so I will help you.

Unfortunately the world we live in requires me to charge a fee for tarot, because I need to pay my bills just like you do! I want to help as many people as I can, and for that I need my time free to mediate and prepare for tarot to help you. This means I’m unable to work another job. How to See an Aura

Good evening all that’s tuned in to Ask a little Witch … So you clicked on this because you’re curious as to what an Aura is, how can you see an Aura and if it’s a trick that most can do… Let me do my best in explaining it as much as I can from what I've learnt over the past.

An Aura, What is an Aura?

Well, an Aura is a vibration of energy. There, wasn't that simple? Okay, now let me explain… All living things are made of energy, you yourself are energy, trees, flowers, animals, fruit and all types of things that are alive exuberate energy. Now the vibration, or what I mean by that is, we all run on various frequencies, some vibrate faster, some slower, some have a stronger vibration and others a weaker vibration of energy.

So that's what an Aura is. But what does it look like??

Auras are different, they look different depending on what, who you’re looking at - just as you’re not the same as your neighbour and their different from you. Sometimes you will see a ring of colour around there silhouette surrounding there body. Some will have beams of colour coming from them.

You see the glow around the hand... That's what it appears like... and on some other occasions on healers hands (reiki healers, crystal healers and masseuse etc)  you will see beams, swirls of energy coming out of their palms.

Okay, so why do people see them and what are they for?

Auras are seen by people with a higher sense of awareness, they can tell a lot about a person from the colours that they see coming from them. Healers can tell use the colour of an Aura to see what energy centre (Chakra) is blocked.

Another way I can describe it, you know you get a feeling in the pit of your tummy, sometimes when you meet someone, and for some reason you get a bad feeling… That’s you ‘psychically’ picking up something about that person. You may not see the energy from that person, but you feel it!

How to see Auras…

You need to approach this with an open mind and bucket loads of patience. You need to be in a relaxed state of being, before you begin you will need your subject to practice on... I'd recommend a piece of fruit like an Apple or a banana, you can even practice on your own hand (in time). You will need to place it in front of a white background... like a white painted brick wall (not wooden as wood usually very much alive), If not, stick a sheet or two of plain white paper on a wall and then begin.  

First you want to quieten your mind, so spend 5-10 minutes just focusing upon your breathing. Deeply in, then out, empty your mind of thoughts. 

Then close your eyes, pick up your item (apple or banana) and hold it gently in your palms. Continue breathing in, and then out, you don't want to strain it, or force it to happen... gently feel the item (apple or banana). But feel I do not mean to stroke it. I mean to feel it, what energy vibration do you get... the best way to describe the feeling for energy is the feeling you get when you hold a crystal in your palms. Some feel a tingling sensation and others a warmth, everybody is different and the vibration can even feel different to different people.

Now place your item in front of the white wall or sheet of paper. You then want to look blankly at the outline of the item (apple or banana). Best way is to imagine you were to draw it, look at the item, not directly at it, but to the side (outline). Eventually your eyes will un-focus... don't panic this its the training process of seeing auras. Soon the blur will turn into a colour, and the aura will appear. 

Please do not stare for too long (you will be seeing the imprint of your item for about 5 minutes after if you do that), try for a minute at a time, until you can build up to a couple minutes. Not everyone will see straight away, it takes time, so be kind to your self...

1      What it means to be a Witch

‘’A Witch is someone who lives the Art, Science, and spirituality of witchcraft’’

First let’s touch upon where witches originated. Well the old ones were simply nothing more than that of wise men and women of there tribes, towns, families who those would go see for spiritual assistance, divinatory and medicinal purposes. In ancient cultures people would go visit the high priestesses and priests for healing. At the time, healing was much more that what our modern medical profession is today. Modern medicine is great in many ways, but in the ancient times, healing was a process involving the mind, emotions and spirit as well as the body. Healing was an energetic process. A healer would give counsel and advice, and minister the spiritual balance of the individual. You will probably find many witches of today are involved in the healing arts, traditional of otherwise, because helping others in such an important part of witchcraft.

A witch is someone who ‘’walks between worlds’’ – like that of a shaman. The shaman believes in nonphysical, spiritual realms, in these worlds, one can get information and healing energy, and communicate with spirits. The Shaman ministers to his people though the ability, to effect healing of the mind, body and spirit. Witches like Shaman believe in nonphysical realms. They are bridges between worlds.

The belief in and the practice of magic has been present since the earliest human cultures and continues to have an important religious and medicinal role in many cultures today. Witchcraft is a spirituality, you walk a spiritual path for nourishment of the soul, to commune with the life force of the universe, and better your own life.

To determine the Witch you must first determine the craft the witch practices. I myself am all of the above, I aim to help others and to heal them and to better the individual. I’m not a villain from a fairy tale story poisoning apples or placing curses upon people.

I help heal people through the art of Tarot and the three fold law. I’m a strong believer that what you put out you shall receive.
