Stop being so external, looks attract they do not keep - Today's society is full of women not happy with how they look: not pretty enough, not sexy enough, not slim enough, not curvy… You are who you are & simply by being who you are you attract the ‘’potentials’’. 

This week i want you all to practice self love, stand in front of a mirror and tell your self of all the things you love about your self… Now i know that might sound awkward, but we need to stop allowing others to judge and tell us our worth - we should already know that we are AMAZING!

They are not you… Stop looking to others to tell you what you are. You are you & you are more than ENOUGH… You're amazing!

So friends are really important to us all… Agreed! They are the closest thing to most of us other than our Families (that we can never get rid of - at times). Our friends are the people that just get us with rarely any judgement They are our biggest support system.

So it makes sense that when you introduce someone you're dating to these special people that you very soon become a label instead of an individual… As i found ‘’the latest squeeze’’ or normally ‘’the NEW girlfriend/boyfriend’’ - Instead of just you… You become an object of judgement! So It goes without saying your friends or your partners friends are or can be your biggest PR Campaign - that can promote or destroy you.

In truth what they say matters and with the level and amount of time they spend with your partner the bigger the influence that they (friends) have over them on you. Yes integrating your partner to your friends and family are important too the future of the relationship, it is what makes them see that you can be in their life for longer. But there are right ways of doing this.

My Mistake

So I had casually met a few of my partner at the times friends, and the ones i did meet were very nice… Now i have a thing about large crowds, that i never used to have but from the stories i had been told it kinda freaked me out a little and i found it extremely overwhelming to be in a room full of all of his friends - HE HAD LOADS!!. So i put it off…

This was potentially harmful to my relationship at the time, as the longer i left it the worse the picture was of me that i had painted for them. Now to my surprise some of his friends knew about me others didn’t, this took the edge off a little but also posed questions in my mind. The questions where 100% the situation i had created for myself, because obviously he was not viewing the relationship as i was at the time, but that is my own fault because i was not integrating into his world.

In other areas of our relationship i shined and this area, the most important of all others i sucked at!! I supported him in doing something that he had always wanted to do, i did my part and raised money for his cause. And It really was a proud moment that he had put everything together as amazingly as he did! It was a proud Girlfriend Moment! He had put on a benefit to help raise money and awareness for a charity and then went on to climb a mountain in africa and had this life changing experience, it was great to have been apart of the making of that.

Anyways, It was the first time i had been in a huge room where i suddenly came aware that i knew nobody. His friends were not as welcoming as i had hoped, but 100% again this was my fault for being so distant in the beginning. Upon talking to some & i think this is probably the moment that kind of knocked me a little, was when one of his good friends (admittedly she was rather drunk) said ‘’ohh you the latest squeeze” I was thinking well i’m not the latest i’ve been with him for almost a year… Then it dawned on me, It took me a year before even coming close to being in his world… So yes i should expect that… and what was to follow.. ‘’He certainly kept you quiet.. did he tell you that me & him..”

Wow i was shocked and at that moment all i wanted to do was go home yet i stayed and supported him. The responses i had got were fair i had not made the effort in the beginning so i should not of expected any less.

The moral and the lesson i have learnt from all this & it might be so simple to the rest of you but to me it had never occurred, because i had not been in a position where i actually cared and it was a new experience for me. By that i mean, i had obviously dated others but i was not that into them to worry about that side of things.

So yes the lesson, It’s important if someone you're dating wants you to meet the people he cares most about. Infact the topic of wanting to meet the new love interest had probably come from their closed friends in first place, from all the good things that the person you're dating has been talking about. It should be a fun honored thing… (Even if i found it daunting).

Instead of putting it off, you should always take them up on that offer. If you do not take them up on that offer, your painting a bad light for yourself in the eyes of those that mean the most to your partner. The longer you leave it the worse it becomes, because we are seen as this girl/guy who is stealing all our mates time and yet she/he won't make time for us? They won't stand for it and that’s when they become the PR Campayn that destroys you, leaves you with less time with your partner until eventually it crumbles.

So yes meeting them as soon as you can allows you to get to see him in another light, how he is outside of you and who you are together. You get to see what kind of people he cares for and it’s then your choice to make rapport with them and make them important to you too. It also gets you to be seen as an individual instead of ‘’blah blah’s Girl/boyfriend”.

Another thing that is important is to allow your partner to still have that time alone with their mates but there has to be a balance in this too. They should always be encouraged to do the things that make them the happiest, after all that is what we want. Never try to control someone or change them because they will not be the person you fell in love with. Communicate your feelings and practise the art of compromise, if there is not a balance and the other is not willing to invest into you as you are into them, it’s not the relationship for you.

I hope this is some what enlightening. I have certainly learnt my lesson & one thing i will add here too is that you must look at the past as your greatest teacher to the present, do not keep making the same mistakes or you will find yourself in the same situations and there will be no time for growth.

So, Sorry for getting all deep on you... I wanted to theme the week on self love & knowing our Self Worth. Jealousy is something that we face at some point in our life, some of us decide to distinguished our self as a jealous person...Forget all the facade over it's only coz i love you that i get jealous, it's a good thing it shows how much i care... It shows nothing more than our own insecurities.

Now i know that may sound a little harsh, and those that know me personally know i'm the kindest person, but when it comes to the truth i can be a little out spoken or blunt, i don't mean to offend in fact i aim to shine a light upon something a lot of us get stuck in.

It's crucial to remember that your partner is not with you simply because your attractive, that is just one factor, & that's what i'd like you to remember before you take something small & making it something huge.

We are in ''relationships'' because that person has so much more to them that meets our desirable partner. So when your partner is engaging in small talk with a some what attractive female, do not assume his going to run off with her... She may be beautiful but she is not you. You are important person in your partners life, and she is not you, so do not fret, jump to conclusions or judge.

You see we meet different categories in peoples life, funny, intelligent, kind, caring, good in bed, generous, out going, fun to be with, values, ambition, goals...  So we are always going to find people who are better at us at some things, but you are the magic ingredient at making your partner yours and he yours.

I hope i am making sense... You see when we are jealous we are sending vibes and energy out that states we are not enough, that person is prettier than me, slimmer than me or funnier than me...

Your partner is with you because he choose to be, because you have all the qualities that he desires, because you are the one that he cannot replace. His not with you just for how you look it’s for everything else you bring to the relationship. But when you act jealous all the time it takes away a little of your sparkle…

Now it depends on the man, some men are naturally flirtatious, some men are not loyal but that's for you to figure out and then it’s for you to decide if this is someone you want to invest in. Trust is key if you have that why are you Jealous??

Jealousy is an internal feeling that implies fear and the lack of something within our self… Your amazing and you are special, your unique to your partner… never let anyone change that. Love who you are, enjoy what you got and be the best you!!

You see there are various categories in a person we find desirable it is not all physical. So yes there will be people that are better then you in certain categories… but you should remember you're so much more to him than just looks, you are many things so you see there is no reason be jealous at all, you are what he wants - not the girl who he is casually talking to for that five minutes.

Jealousy is real - battle it now! Stop comparing your self to everyone else... Believe me it's great to be different & no i'm not everyone's cup of tea... But when you wake up and realize your a lot happier.

It's funny to see that destiny has come up, and i do wonder that those who picked confusion yesterday would get destiny today?? It looks like things are panning out for you all

Destiny - I feel like the energy from this card is powerful, like i always say we are being guided through our life, spirit is always with us... This is a perfect example of this - Something has brought about some synchronicity and something that was supposed to happen will indeed happen this weekend. It's also a card that reminds us that the answers we seek are within, and that we should not question our gut instinct... You have a vision of how you want your life to be, and sometimes we become inflexible in how we want it to happen.. Firstly lets just discuss what a first quarter moon is… The first quarter moon comes after a new moon,and you are probably familiar with what a New Moon brings, but incase your not to sum it up in a few short words - A New Moon brings New energy and a New Beginning.

So usually whether we realise it or not when a new moon comes we tend of committed to something, began something new or new energy has been added to something renewed. So when it comes to the first quarter moon we are presented with our first hurdle. There is always a crisis theme surrounding a first quarter moon, and we are asked to take action and make a choice or a decision in regards to all that took place on the New Moon.

Okay so lets look a little deeper at this… The New Moon was on the 25th August 2014 in the Sign of Virgo - Depending on your ascendant sign the moon will influence different sectors of your life

Now as you can see from above the moon was in the sign of virgo on the new moon now the sun (in virgo) is squaring the First quarter moon in sagittarius… So First let's briefly state that the Sun (heart) is squaring (causing disharmony/stress) with the Moon (mind subconscious)...

So here i feel there will be a tug of war between heart and mind. Now merging with the signs sun in virgo, is or can be seen as perfection we are in search of that perfect…. -fill in the blank (in regard to the house it is sitting in). and Sagittarius is all about spiritual knowledge, the knowing deep down what feels right what is spiritually calling you - following the heart…

So here we have the the wanting of things to be simple, equal, fair, perfect and the calculating of your emotions and the reasoning behind what the heart wants… We all know that the heart knows best, for it can see what the eyes and logic don’t see. So we have you analysing, organising & weighing up the heart and on top of this we have, the sagittarius first quarter moon causing us to take action (in the house it sitting in and aspects). The answer is simple… to listen to your higher self you need to stop thinking, clear your mind out and you will know what to do. Trust in your intuition…

Now you only have until the 5th of September before venus switches also into virgo, which will cause you more confusion and may even cause you to step away from the matter of the heart. At the moment Venus is in Leo, which yes causes a lot of pride to get in the way of things but it is also ruled by sun and so you can get a bit more clear about what your heart wants if you're able to step away from your ego self.

So as you can see in the first column venus will be in these houses up until the 5th of September then it will move to the next house along… For example, Gemini Asc people, have venus in there 3rd house… So this enables them to communicate effectively from the heart, could also show all forms of communication like media, and also short distance travel and connecting with siblings as they are all 3rd house things…  

Now Mercury will be in Libra until 27th September so this is all about our intellect and how we see things and rationalise things… We maybe wanting to make compromises around this time… For example the Gemini Ascendant has there mercury in the 5th house, which is about creatively expressing their self, it’s about learning, dad, children and the arts so maybe there intellect will be heavy focused on learning important lessons and finding ways of expressing all they have learnt.

Now Mars is where your energy is being placed at the moment, what’s your action and drive and for example a capricorn ascendant energy is heavily focused upon their social network, friends and building upon that. They have a desire to meet more people and connect with them.. and looking at there venus in 8th house is showing that in term of love they are making dramatic changes, they are emotional and up and down, it’s either all or nothing at all… IT’s dark and there focus is being pulled into the negative aspects a lot with this… big changes with there love. There mind is focused on how other people see them, the way their work colleagues see them, building contacts and thinking about their career path is what has these peoples thinking about.

Aries First Quarter moon

I think with Aries there beliefs are being challenged… They might be questioning old beliefs with new ones at this time and maybe even higher learning now the sun in the 6th house is causing you conflict in the areas of everyday life.  So here the Sun in the 6th house is causing you stress and disharmony with your belief system in regards to six house things like relationships with coworkers, money issues, fighting, divorce or maybe you even been a little bit ill… Could be faced with many challenges at this time, you are being forced to learn some very important lessons. Or maybe you're studying law, medicine and it’s causing you much headaches. Your heart is in the right the place, you're trying to find ways of expressing all you have learnt… But Mercury in the 7th house is showing your intellect is being made to pay attention to your partnerships or relationships in general and your energy is being drawn to take action, dramatic action as it’s all or nothing type thing. There are a lot of ups and downs for you but a transformation is coming and you will get to the bottom of a problem you have been trying to solve. The problem or hurdle you might face is to do with learning something new or having to travel somewhere to solve the issue at hand.

Okay so your energy and focus for taurus ascendant people is on your partnerships and relationships. Your intellect is on family, business and property… maybe even making plans to renovate and make the home better.
